Drop in for wine tastings, relax inside or out, enjoy the tranquil views with a glass of wine & shared plates of local produce. Wood fired pizzas and live music on weekends (check website for more information). Wine varieties include Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Rose, Merlot, Shiraz & Pinot Noir, plus local beers and ciders. Family friendly. The Gurdies Winery

Located in the Gurdies area, just off the Bass Highway with spectacular views of Westernport Bay.

Features include a comprehensive winery, a range of award winning wines made from Estate-grown grapes and a large cellar door facility with capacity for social events. Talk to the winemaker and see the winemaking process. Be there for the special release of our newest award winning wine, 2017 The Gurdies Winery Orchid Label Chardonnay awarded the 2018 Premier’s Trophy Best Victorian Wine over Christmas between 27 December – 1 Jan. Enjoy tasting our wines, relax in our extensive garden, picnic in our barbeque areas and view the vines. Take the opportunity to explore the neighbouring Gurdies Nature Conservation Reserve, famous for its remnant vegetation including spectacular orchids. Open 11am – 5pm Friday to Sunday, public holidays and at other times by prior booking.

Purple Hen Wines

Rhyll Award winning wines and a beautiful cellar door with sweeping coastal views. Since opening in 2006, Purple Hen has won over 150 medals and trophies at wine shows around Australia. Great wines, an informal atmosphere and knowledgeable staff ensure a visit to remember. Enjoy live music every Friday evening 6pm – 8pm in January. For these music events, you can bring your own food or buy one of our platters.Cellar Door open 11am – 5.30pm every day in Summer and School Holidays, other times 5 days a week (closed Tuesday & Wednesday).
